Dr. Parijat Bhattacharjee FRCOG FICOG is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist specialising in fertility management and reproductive surgery. He trained as a Clinical Fellow at University College London Hospitals in infertility management.
He believes in individualised care for each fertility patient, ensuring quick assessment and treatment to make their experience smooth and comfortable. He is an RCOG trainer for Advanced modules in Gynaecology & Fertility Ultrasound, performs all ultrasound scans, including HyCoSy, and serves on the Editorial Board of the RCM Journal, ‘Ultrasound’.
Dr. Bhattacharjee has trained extensively in Minimal Access Surgery (Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy) at Royal Free Hospital & St. George’s Hospital. He performs most fertility-preserving surgeries as day cases, ensuring quick recovery and minimal complications. His expertise includes managing general gynaecology patients and performing gynaecology surgery for conditions like ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and fibroid removal.
He currently practises at IVF London, a renowned Fertility London Clinic that offers the best IVF treatment in the UK. His role ensures that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Outside his clinical work, Dr. Bhattacharjee is involved in extensive charity work to improve maternal and child health in India and Africa. He is the Lead for R&D in his department, has published extensively, and has presented at international conferences.
A wildlife enthusiast, he enjoys photography and is keenly interested in archaeology and history, participating in heritage preservation efforts.
